The owners were beyond helpful and hospitable!!!! Val and Roy accommodated our very diverse group with laughter and humanity. Thank you guys for an amazing experience and I will be back grand babies in tow! The rooms are very basic but that’s exactly what was needed to refresh the soul.
We’re currently riding the Great Divide Mountain Bike Route and had just rolled into Lincoln, MT when we started calling around for a place to stay. The Lincoln Log Hotel was our third call—and it turned out to be the perfect one. Roy, who answered the phone (and who we later met in person), was incredibly kind and welcoming from the very start. His friendly tone and helpful directions made it clear this was where we wanted to stay. We rode over right away. When we arrived—dusty, tired, and dragging our dirty bikes—Roy and his wife Valarie greeted us with such warmth and hospitality, it truly felt like a home away from home. We ended up taking a rest day and spent it relaxing at the hotel, and they went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable the whole time. The rooms have a cozy, rustic log cabin charm, but it’s the genuine kindness of the hosts that really sets this place apart. We can’t recommend it enough—and we’ll definitely be back.
Dan was such a great guy and went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed and comfortable with our dogs. He even caught us before we left to give us items we left in the room. I would recommend staying there if you are in the area .
I stayed here during a heat wave, on the fourth of July weekend. The manager was welcoming and luckily they had a cancellation. My room was basic but clean. The grounds of this hotel are amazing! There was a fire pit and a little creek. This is a great hotel if you have a dog. The hidden gem here was the restaurant. WOW. Honestly, it was the best fettuccine Alfredo I have ever had!! And the server was so friendly. Love this place and if you get a chance to stay here, you will be very happy.
We had an amazing dinner tonight!! 10 of us to Celebrate a birthday. Food was wonderful! Service was wonderful !! They went above and beyond!! Thank you to Owners and staff
This was such a great little place with the best customer service! Owners and staff are like welcoming you to their home. Food is top notch, grounds absolutely beautiful and got to see the cutest baby deer! As others have mentioned rooms are basic but clean and comfortable. Already looking forward to coming back!
I know the owners personally and I will definitely tell you this little gem is worth the visit, stay or whatever you wanna come do! Great for wedding venues or even a family getaway. You like spooky adventures well ask about the creepy room its history is cool. Not everyday you can visit something that strongly represents the lumber backbone of America! You like art? Guess what?!?!?! Theres a famous artist who use to stay at Lincoln... Then to top it off you can say you slept in a Lincoln Log Hotel that's like the toys we grew up with. Wait you waiting for? Seriously why haven't you booked already?
We needed a quick, safe, and clean place to stay, and this was the perfect spot! As history enthusiasts, we really appreciated the authentic and historic atmosphere. The service was excellent and very friendly. We would definitely stay here again!
